현실에서 듣게 될 줄은 생각도 못했다.

isis건 isil이건 혹은 알카에다이건 아니면 다른 분파이건 공통점이 있다.
매우 antifragile하다는 것이다.

미국등의 robust한 외부 세력이 테러의 씨를 말리겠다고 이슬람 지역으로 쳐들어가면 일시적으로 위축되는 듯하다가 시간이 지나면 점점 세력이 커져서 미국이 전혀 통제할 수 없는 상황이 된다. 더 강력한 원리주의와 무기와 후원 조직으로 무장한 세력이 여러 개가 생겨나서 번성하고 지역과 주민을 장악하는 상황이 반복되고 있다.

911 이래 미국이 한 일은 전 세계를 더 위험하게 만든 것뿐이다.

미국이나 다른 서양 국가가 달러패권, 오일패권에 관심이 있는지와는 별개로, 그들이 가진 무기가 압도적이라서 이스라엘인을 제외한 아랍인의 씨를 말려버릴 수 있을 지와는 별개로, 그게 아니라 정말 인도주의를 실천하고자 하는지와는 별개로, 한 명이라도 아랍인들이 살아남는 한 아랍은 아랍인의 손에 의해 미래가 결정될 수밖에 없을 것으로 보인다.
